About

The teacher behind the stories

Hannah reading The Yet Jet aloud to two children in a library, holding the open book up for them to see.

Hannah Marks has spent more than fifteen years teaching and encouraging young children in the classroom. Filled with the same phrases and positive messages she shares with her students every day, her stories are written especially for the children who learn differently — the ones who find some things tricky, and who need to hear that their brain is wonderful exactly as it is.

She lives in Australia with her husband and two young sons — one of whom is the “special little guy” her first book is dedicated to.
